I’ve got a couple games for you. Not sure what to call them, but they are both favs at our church’s children’s Halloween party each year.
For the one game, you’ll need a couple (maybe several) pieces of thin rope or jump ropes or one long pieces of rope that can be extended across a room and a BUNCH of doughnuts.
Put a doughnut suspended on the rope(s) for each child and have the children race to eat the doughnut without being able to use their hands. First child to eat their doughnut wins!
Buy a blue plastic dollar table cloth, several pieces of dowling about two feet long. Attach string to one end of the dowling and a chothespin to the other end of the string. Then tape the tablecloth to both sides of a doorframe from the floor to about two feet or so from the top of the frame. Have the kids on one side to “fish” and an adult, two or three on the other side to put the “fish” (prize) on the fishing line. The prize can be either a cookie in a ziplock bag, Halloween toys (cheap ones), or candy.
The kids love both games!
