The first thing I saw was the old sewing machine…LOVE! Then I noticed the gold glue gun and wondered…hmmm, I wonder if that’s the one she used to trace out her vinyl for her car sticker??? LOL I love your room! It looks the way mine would if I had one haha! I have my stuff all over the house. Literally all over. It drives me crazy, and now that I have a consignment booth and my husband sees this CAN be a real business, he’s talking about building me a space!!! Yay! Keep keeping it real!

Wow! I feel so connected to you! It’s like you did a makeover in MY craft room (or as my husband calls it, my CRAP room). I have the same basic layout: two short shelves with a double pane glass door, no frame for a desk (good for tracing w/an uplight, cutting, hot gluing, etc), cedar chest under my window and sewing machine between two tall shelves. The furniture is even in the exact same layout – kinda scary!
I can’t wait to use your inspiration in my room to make it more freely functional! If I could only find the path in . . .

I love your room as much as your honesty. I don’t know where to even start with my craft room. The only crafting that takes place in there is sewing. My card making and scrapbooking supplies are on a cartridge so I can wheel it to the dining room. One of these days I will be more like you.

Oh my goodness! I loved the little sneak peek on FB. The full reveal is absolutely wonderful! I’m in the early stages of getting a room to be my craft room as soon as I get kids off to college. I am most definitely bookmarking this page to for the storage ideas. You did a fantastic job finding a place for everything without it being to perfectly perfect (know what I mean?). Finally a craftroom BEFORE that’s a disaster like mine…maybe there’s hope that my room can finally take shape. I’ve been looking at all these perfect craft rooms, and giving up. I also work with too many different materials that are hard to round up.

Thanks for sharing….lucky me I have a whole basement to utilize as a craft room…you have given me ideas on where to get started. I too like to have things out to see and inspire. Love the candy jar shelf’s and the paint shelf wall.
