Today I have a cute little vinyl Easter craft using my favorite–Expressions Vinyl! and guess what? A bunny faces free cut file for you! Grab your silhouette cameo or cricut and make the cutest project!
These eggs turned out so cool
Supplies to make Easter Bunny Eggs:
- Eggs
- Permanent vinyl
- Transfer tape
- cut file (down below)
- felt (if you want to add ears)
- hot glue gun (for ears)
I was actually going to use real eggs, but found these at Walmart for less than $2. I love the idea that I can keep them FOREVER!
Since I can reuse them year after year I really wanted the vinyl to stick for the long haul So I use permanent vinyl. But you can totally use removeable! It will hold up fine!
How to make Easter Bunny Face
I cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo (love that machine!) But you can totally use your Cricut! I cut them out in black. Peel away the excess!
I cut each one apart and weeded it.
Added them to the egg using transfer tape!
After rubbing firmly, I just peel back the transfer tape and leave the vinyl on the egg! If you are having a hard time getting it to stick, try wiping the egg with an alcohol wipe and let it dry. I had no problems getting the vinyl to stick with the fake eggs- but haven’t tried on real eggs!
You can cut the noses out of pink vinyl or just take a pink sharpie and color it in!
I wanted my little bunnies to have some blush so I took a pink stamp pad and a qtip and added some to the cheeks! If you don’t have a pink stamp pad- you could use your blush and q-tip!
Leave them as is–so cute just like this!
You can also add a little pair of felt ears with hot glue!
Try adding these vinyl cut files to fun colored dyed eggs!
You can also take these svg cut files and put it on a bag or shirt! This tote bag is perfect to take on your Easter egg hunt! Better than a basket because it can be stored flat!
