I am currently working on making over my fireplace mantel–and this sign is going on there! So I wanted to offer you a free cut file before I show off my whole fun Christmas decor!
First–you know I usually make my own wood signs. But Hobby Lobby has been killing it in the wood blank section and I just can’t seem to stop buying them all. It just saves so much time and effort –plus some of them are painted and just ready to go!
I just cut out the saying with my silhouette and expressions vinyl. I wanted to carry on the distressed look of the sign and just used the vinyl as a stencil (which means you weed out the actual design.)
Then add paint!
Peel off vinyl
Then I just took a sandpaper and lightly rubbed to add the distressed look!
If you want to know how to use adhesive vinyl you can check out this post
and heat transfer vinyl you can check out this post!
Check out all my free cut files!
And I have some awesome cut file bundles here in my shop!
and if you make anything–I would LOVE LOVE LOVE To see it!
