[this is a random non crafty post…but i still thought i would share cause my kids loved it….}
I’m not sure why–but my kids love Yoga. (probably cause of kung fu panda movies) (or the funny names)
(she says…and i quote, she’s trying to find her inner peace)
anyways… I’m always concerned that my kids will be too lazy over the summer–always playing on whatever electronics we have…So I thought we would do a month of yoga. Learn a fun new position every day.
and they totally love it! Each day we review the ones we have already learned…and then add on to it!!! (Most days it takes us quite awhile to teach the new position properly.)
I’ve rounded up 31 positions for you here….starting semi easy (stretches and basic poses) and going to harder. I’ve tried to find links that teaches you proper placement and position (cause, as with any exercise, if you don’t do it correctly, you can get hurt!)
(my Kids are age 11, 8 and 6. and it is funny cause each have different strengths. One will pick it up easily..and the other two struggle…then the next day it’s ANOTHER ONE that can do it super easy…and then the one that it was easy for the day before has a hard time!)
You can start now and get in 30 days before school starts!!!
