If you love Disney like me…and are planning a trip…make sure to check out Get Away Today!
Today is a big day! I’m so excited to spill the beans about a new line that is launching at Joann Stores! It’s a Disney craft line–Loads of great things that will let you create so much Disney fun (I am a Disney FANATIC! who’s with me!?) I’m showing you the Minnie Mouse line…(but there are links at the end to the Mickey Mouse and Princess ones!)
The line contains adhesive bows and Minnie ears in Chalkboard, felt, and burlap, iron on decals, Burlap you can run through the printer and the back is filled with fun ideas on how to use them!
and I’m going to show you even more fun ways to create with them!First up Decorations:
The adhesive works AMAZING! I just bought some paper fans and peeled off the backing and stuck to the middles!instant cuteness! (and you can see that you can overlap the bows on the Minnie ears for fun pops!
and had to add some ears to Balloons…cause what’s a party without them!
Nothing screams party like Helium balloons!
I printed out a banner on this burlap
cut it out and added some scrapbook paper and minnie decals! Then hot glued to a ribbon to hang (both scrapbook and ribbon can be found at Joann Stores)
We just served pink lemonade…but fancied up the straws with some bows!
and whipped up some dipped strawberries…They of course had to be pink! (you can find these candy melts at Joann) (and if I was skilled I would have added some white polka dots…but they looked more like white spiders. #truestory
used the rest of the candy melts on some pretzels!
and …CUPCAKES! I just used a toothpick on the back to one of the burlap Minnie ears! (I love the polka dot ones!) (the pink “polka dots” are sixlets! you can buy them at Joann in tons of fun colors! )
PartIy favors: easy cheap white lunch bags…made instantly cuter with some bows (and this big fat washi tape from Heidi swapp!)
I just couldn’t decide between the bows and ears….they both looked so cute!
and even made a little treat bag! (there is something about stripes with polka dots that screams perfection!
and probably My favoritest thing: These fun ears! I have these yarn pom pom makers...and I’ve been searching for excuses to pom EVERYTHING! and these were perfect! Just made two ears for each store bought party hat!
Hot glued to the sides and added bows! (both sizes looked cute!)
The line comes with this awesome decal–So I had to make a cute shirt
It just irons right on!
and I ironed on some polka dot from heat transfer vinyl to some tulle to make a cute tutu! (full tutorial coming next week!)
pin the bow on minnie! I grabbed some scrapbook paper and traced a minnie mouse shape…and then used the felt bows (since they were already sticky on the back!)
and A cake (urr…cupcake) walk!
I ironed on 1-9 on these fun chalkboard minnie ears–You could stick these to wall and have them move around the room. We laid them in the grass and just had everyone stand by the side!
We had so much fun creating this party! (and FYI–the polka dots are vinyl on the wall!)
Turned out so cute. (she said so humbly)
