How to make words out of foam!

You know I’m a big fan of Make it Fun® Foam (go HERE! )

Today I’m going to show you one of my favorite ways to use…to get the look of a wood cut out…without having to buy all the wood cutting tools (or risk losing a finger!

I just take a sheet of Make it fun® foam and sketch out the design. Since I’m painting over it I don’t have to worry about lines. If you aren’t good at free handing…You can print out something and trace!  I love this heated styrocutter! It cuts through it like BUTTER!

Once it’s all cut out I cover it with smooth finish. This goes in and fills the porous surface so you can paint it. I usually do two coats with sanding in between.

Then you are free to paint your awesome new design however you want!

This cute Valentine’s wreath is going on my door!

I also used Make it fun® foam to make my son’s name!
