yesterday i posted about paracord bracelets….and my husband says this
“isn’t there a purpose for these paracord bracelets….?”
and i say “yes. to look good on my wrist.”
and he says ,” no i mean survival crap” (he says crap as much as i do)
so i googled it…and wouldn’t you know…LISTS of useful things to do in cause you are up a creek….(sometimes LITERALLY up a creek)
just unravel and use it in case your backpack breaks…
or to help start a fire…
or if you need a quick dog leash.
or if you shoelace breaks…
anyways..these little bracelets are pretty useful! i found THIS awesome list of 80 uses!
happy braiding!

so as we made ours for the kids, I commented on how it was funny that a 6 and 8 year old were wearing “survival bracelets” because they would never be in a situation where they needed to use a rope for survival. Well then we went to the drive-in that night and needed to tie down the trunk hatch – and whatda know, but we had paracord ready for use – so there ya go.

Good to know! I love the bracelets that you posted the other day. We are planning to make a few (and now we will keep the extra cord around) Thanks for sharing 🙂
