Thought I would share this cute ladybug invitation I made for my daughters second birthday.
I cut a circle out of that clear scrapbook paper and cut it in half and added some polka dots
I also cut a circle of red the same size (do NOT cut in half)
The head is a smaller black circle.
I hot glued some pipe cleaners on and put in some brads for the eyes. (You could hot glue googly eyes on top of the brads)
Then you put the red circle first. Then the clear wings and put the head on top. The brads are going to go through the wings and the red body. This makes the wings move
hot glued some ric rac for the legs

and add your invite!
and here’s a nice ladybug story for you.
My daughter was playing with a ladybug outside. I told her to put it in the flower pot and come inside for dinner. When she was finished with her dinner she said she was going to go check on her ladybug. I told her ladybugs have wings and could fly away so it might not be there. She said, Nah huh. I ripped off the wings. Then she skipped down the stairs to play with her ladybug.

I'm having a ladybug party for my daughter's 2nd birthday next month! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the invite idea! Although, while thinking of invites I realized I don't know any little girls her age! They are all boys! 🙁 I'm going to have to hunt down some little girls for her to play with. LOL
