yup! i said it! Duck Brand® has WASHI tape. (They also have all sorts of Duck Brand Craft Tapes–like glitter and fabric and prism! check them out! so many funs way to get creative!)
I recently have gone bat crazy over washi tape! i want to stick it on EVERYTHING! It’s easy to tear…you can reposition it and Duck Brand® has the cutest ones! (and you can write on it! so you could use them as lables! so cool!
i scored some awesome polka dots (and leopard but it’s not pictured!)
I decided to fancy up my craft room with a couple rolls!!!!
I started with this blank wall space between my shelves where my sewing machine fits!
I painted it white to match my shelves….
then added a chalkboard paint square (cause i love chalkboard!)
AND then came the 3 days of waiting to “cure it”. Have i mentioned how much I HATE waiting. Nevermind the half finished projects all over my craft room…when i want to finish something i want to do it NOW!
Finally i got to “cure it” by rubbing chalk all over it before it’s first use!
Now i’m sure you are wondering– wasn’t this a post about washi tape?
but i wanted to “frame it out” so it wasn’t so boring (and to cover up the paint leaks!)
so i used this super fun polka dot to give me exactly what i was looking for!
and while i was doing it–i got carried away and did the shelf edges too! love how they look!!!
and since i can’t stop when i have a good thing…i have this thread holder…just a raw rough edge..so ugly!
so i threw some washi tape on there too!
i also put some on my button jars
and the fun Duck Brand® leopard washi tape on my exacto knife ( i have to take them to a craft night and i want to make sure to get mine back!)
I even have this lamp that i recovered and threw in a pop of polka dot on the inside…purely for the fun value!
Do you love Duck Brand® as much as I do! Well here’s you lucky day! enter to win an assortment of fun Duck Craft Tape!
and make sure to follow them on twitter @theduckbrand for more inspiration!!!!
