winnie the pooh!

This post is brought to you by Disney and BluePrint Social. All opinions are 100% mine.

Are you a humongous fan of Winnie the Pooh like I am? That silly old bear has some Major  words of wisdom. And i was so excited that the  The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is coming to Blu-Ray Combo Pack and HD Digital August 27th! (my mom’s birthday!)

So as part of the awesome new release…i got to craft something pooh bear inspired!

winnie the pooh wall hanging

i’ve been itching to try this technique…where you cut out the letters–take out the letters and use the outline and then use fun pictures to fill it in!

designed my print on my silhouette–

blackout is the PERFECT font for this kind of project…cut it out…

IMG_2117 i had an old pooh bear book that i ripped out pages to fill in the negative space

then i just cut and taped pictures as i went… IMG_2121

About Kimbo

Kimbo blogs at A girl and a glue gun--where she puts her hot glue gun to good use (as well as her vinyl cutter and sewing machine) She loves all crafts and is thrifty (the nice way to say she's cheap) So she is constantly trying to come up with fast and easy projects that won't break the bank! She lives in Idaho with her hot husband and 3 kiddos.

  1. Very cute!! Love that you used pages from the old books!

  2. This will be perfect for my sister-she loves original winnie the pooh stuff & she just announced that she is prego with her first babe! Thank you for the inspiration!

  3. Love it! And I’m not a huge winnie the pooh fan, but this makes me like it.

  4. Oh my goodness, this is so cute! I love, love, love that technique, and your illustrations behind the cut-out are perfect!

  5. This would be perfect for a nursery! So fun 🙂

  6. OMG! I know this post is from a while ago, but I LOVE it! It would be fun to do a whole collage of frames with sayings from their corresponding Disney movie!! 🙂 Great job!
