Before I show you this fun floral colorful tween bedroom…I want you to know what a slacker I am. (If you didn’t already know!) I painted this wall in 2014. And then we spent the next year adding all the little details here and there. THEN last SUMMER I took all these photos. I even edited them. And then just let it sit here forever! So this post is years in the making! AND what has inspired me to post it? Daughter wants to REDO her room. boo! I love this floral wall soooo much. But she wants simplicity. White. Minimalist. (I am NONE of these things) But I loved that my mom let me decorate my room. (I once put my bed in the closet) I’m sure my mom cringed! So I thought I had better post this fun bedroom before it gets swapped out for something different!Â
Alright! Are we ready to go!? I added some stripes…and painted the flowers. It took one long night but I love how bright and fun they are!
I actually just use acrylic paint from DecoART! Â Not wall paint!Â
We added a Queen bed. The comforter and side table is Better Home and Garden from Walmart and clock is from TJ MAXX
This wall is the view you see when you walk in. It’s the only wall that doesn’t have a door or a closet or a window. To the right is the closet- Â and then her desk!Â
The bulletin board is a little too high (her barbie house used to be underneath) but it’s a board covered with stuffing and burlap and framed out with gift wrap covered wood. She is a collector. She keeps napkins and gum wrappers and notes her friends have gave her. So I wanted a place for her to put them all.Â
You might recognize the desk! It has been pinned almost 200,000 times! Crazy!Â
Next to the desk is the door and then this little nook we have put her accessory wall! Mirror, jewelry, sunglasses, perfume. Everything a girl needs.
(we have actually redone this get ready station…You saw cans see her new wake up and makeup station hereÂ
Keep spinning in a circle and you have her dresser with shelves.
Like I said before…she is a keeper. Lots of little Tchotchkes! So I made her a deal that she could put whatever she wants on her shelves…but that means she couldn’t stack piles in her windowsill, desk, dresser! (I’ve cleaned it up for the photos…but these shelves are usually filled with stuff!)
See the polka dot mirror!? I made it for CHEAP here!Â
We added the shelves last. That’s why her wall was painted like that. It used to have a book shelf down below.
and the doodle dresser is from here!Â
Next is a window. Added some pom poms to her curtains. (with hot glue thankyouverymuch)
Then we put up a dry erase board for her to doodle with. We were going to do chalkboard…but chalk dust all over white bed. nothanks. There you go. We have made if full circle!  The geometric pillow is from HERE
The triangle sheets from Target.
I don’t know about you…but I love this colorful floral room! All my favorite things! I’m sad to see it go!
